Barnes & Noble - West Seattle

Writer and South Seattle College teaching colleague, Mike Hickey and I will be sharing the podium at Barnes & Noble - Westwood Village in beautiful West Seattle on Friday, May 2, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

This special monthly reading series called Words, Writers, and West Seattle is organized by the Southwest Seattle Historical Society in collaboration with Barnes & Noble. A portion of all book sales on the day of the reading will be donated to the Southwest Seattle Historical Society.

Village Books

Village Books in Bellingham, Washington is one of those large, homey independent bookstores where you can spend a day exploring the shelves and never get bored. I love the place! So of course, I'm always pleased when I'm given the opportunity to do a reading event there. Such was the case last Friday night. Here I am, happily sharing a scene from RUNNING SECRETS.

A Dream Come True: Consolidation

As the cabaret tables at Richard Hugo House filled last Saturday afternoon for the RUNNING SECRETS Launch Party, my veins flowed with joy. A novel published. A dream come true.

As I said in my opening remarks, I am very grateful to all who have supported me through this writing journey: readers and writers, family and friends, and of course, my wonderful publishing team at Booktrope. Thank you for this vote of confidence.
